Our Vision

Welcome to Yanagi Studios! We are a media production studio with a vision to create a range of different media products to showcase to the world. We hope to bring people films, literature, audiobooks, audioplays, music, and more.

Yanagi Studios owned and co-founded by Thomas Caterer, was founded in 2016. On our Projects & Links page you will find links to our YouTube channel which is home to our completed short films, and a link to Notepad Stories; our website for original stories and poems. You may also find our screenplays and blog post updates on this site.

Taipei Filmmaking Club was founded in March 2025 by Thomas Caterer. This group is intended to bring filmmakers together to work on creative projects, build a network of collaborators, and to establish a community in Taipei which is based on a mutual passion for filmmaking and storytelling.
